Amor Eterno Press is Amy Miranda George and Salvador Chamuco Cortez. With the support and encouragement of Eastside Arts Alliance, Amy and Chamuco were able to learn printmaking from Juan R. Fuentes in 2014. Since then they have published a book of linocut prints, curated an art exhibition, printed at San Quentin, taught classes and printed with the community at San Antonio park.
Each print is unique. Linocut blocks are hand carved from mounted linoleum. Prints are pressed on our beautiful Griffin etching press at Amor Eterno Arte. For larger prints we print at Eastside Arts Alliance on their restored American French etching press. All prints are printed with oil ink that cures for 3 days. Our paper is archival 100% cotton. No corporations were used to make these prints. All suppliers are small independent companies.
Our Griffin etching press was built by Reynaldo Terrazas Santos and Rafael De La Torrre in the early 1990’s. The Griffin Press company was located in our building, where Amor Eterno Arte is today. Reynaldo designed and crafted the stunning brick accents and arched windows at Amor Eterno Arte. We are honored to continue the creative spirit the Terrazas Santos family created.

The crescent moon reminds me to trust my intuition and my dreams. A milagro for reflection to enter into new beginnings, changing seasons with my needs and wants clear and supported. - amy
